I won’t lie – this is not my favorite age to photograph. The age between newborn and sitting up is a tough job. This little cutie was a real supermodel and made my job a piece of cake. She breezed through several outfit and backdrop changes without batting an eye. Miss A came all the way from Florida to have her pictures done with me – I think that is flattering even if her daddy does work for an airline and gets free tickets. 😉 Hope you guys love these as much as I do!

Seriously, how cute is she?

I posted a few weeks ago about a photography get together I attended with some friends. One of the girls arranged for different vendors to donate door prizes (thanks Fabi!). One of the prizes that I won was an adorable diaper cover from the Etsy seller Kuttin up. I was so thankful to her that I told her I would take pictures of it and post them on my blog so that she could use them in her store. Here is my little supermodel reluctantly modeling it for me.

I could have taken off the Spiderman band aid or removed it in Photoshop but there is something poetic about a princess with scuffed knees and a Spiderman band aid.

She takes this job very seriously!

Okay, maybe not.

I was so excited when this little cuties mom contacted me and expressed interest in doing the “cake smash”. I love doing them and think they are so much fun. She showed up with her cake, adorable party hat and these awesome bright colored balloons – yay!

I never know if the baby will actually eat the cake or not but this guy did not disappoint. He was all over that cake! I hope that you think he is as cute as I do. Happy birthday big boy!

I am spending the next few months interviewing some of the many wonderful photographers who support and inspire me daily. I will be featuring an image that they love and asking 10 questions about the image, photography and life. I hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as I have. This week I am featuring the talented Jennifer Ricketts of Jennifer Ricketts Photography in Orinda, CA – San Francisco Bay Area. Check out her work, add her blog to your google reader and become a Facebook fan!
