I am spending the next few months interviewing some of the many wonderful photographers who support and inspire me daily. I will be featuring an image that they love and asking 10 questions about the image, photography and life. I hope you enjoy getting to know them as much as I have. This week I am featuring the talented Jen Snyder of Jen Snyder Photography in Harford County, MD. Canvas

I love canvas so much that I swear I would wallpaper my house with them. Not only do they look awesome but they don’t need to be framed and are easy to hang. If you have been to my studio then you have already seen the first one but the second one is for a client. She is decorating her kid’s bathroom and hallway in a monkey theme. I hope to get pics from her once it is finished. I’m not sure what was harder – taking the picture the first time or trying to take a picture of a picture with no glare. I hope you enjoy these and are inspired to make your family “art”.

I knew Ashley when she was 2 years old and was shocked to see how much she has grown up. She is a truly beautiful girl and was so much fun to work with. Congratulations Ashley and may the future hold only the best for you.

This was one of the most interesting sessions I have ever done. We took 4 wheelers to our outdoor location and joked about how funny it would be if we ran out of gas so far from our cars. We didn’t run out of gas but did manage to get both 4 wheelers stuck in the mud before we even took a shot. Luckily Sadie was wearing white – perfect for climbing out of the mud, right? We made the best of the situation and ended up with some great stuff.
